We have arranged a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn (rate $112 +tax) and the Travelodge (rate $93 +tax). The hotel blocks will be released on August 16, 2008. Ask for the "SNO" rate.

Shuttle Bus Service from Hotels

We are arranging bus transportation between the recommended hotels and the SNOLAB site. More information on the shuttle schedule will be posted here later.

If you plan to drive your rental car to site, contact the local organizers for directions to SNOLAB, if you need them, and for instructions for site entry. Please be sure to obey all traffic signs while on Vale Inco property, take extra care around heavy equipment, and leave a copy of your rental agreement on the dash of your parked rental car (parking is available just outside the SNOLAB Surface Building).

Travel

Sudbury has a local airport (Sudbury Airport YSB), where rental cars or taxis are available for transport to hotels. Participants may also choose to rent a car from Toronto Airport YYZ and drive approximately 4.5 hours to Sudbury.

Meals and Restaurants

Coffee service and lunches are planned (included). A conference dinner is being planned - check back for more information.
